Project Name : Check, Use and Test (CUT) Usage : Internal Description CUT is an e-learning system which focuses on the three components, which are Check (C) - Explanation, Use (U) - Exploration and Test (T). It allows the students study the subject through the Check (C) area. By providing the questions for students to practice in the Use (U) area, to test and evaluate themselves in Test (T) area and to let the students have fun while learning. Check (C) "Check" means check your knowledge. The Check section should present the generalizations and examples appropriate to the key ideas as stated by the outcomes. It is a short and compact module for fast learning and revision. Use (U) "Use" means use your knowledge. The Use section allows the learner to apply their knowledge on selected questions. The aim of this section is to allow the learner to complete the questions with the use of different levels of help (scaffolding). ‘Hint’ and ‘More Hints’ buttons will encourage learners to complete the questions. Explanation will be provided after the answer has been shown. The number of questions will depend on the learning objectives and will be generated from a pool of easy, moderate and difficult questions.
